Thank You for Visiting Gnos Art Studio!
Thank you! Life Imitates Art?? I can’t thank all of you enough for stopping by Gnos Art Studio over these last 2 weekends! I loved visiting with you and sharing your connection to the sea, music, and living a creative life!
Surprises included characters stepping out of my paintings into my actual studio. Thank you for inspiring me, Charlie Puffer of Puffers of Pismo, Melissa Hardie Phillip, Erin Inglish, Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards & all Avila Beach friends! You all made it possible for me to donate to Jack’s Helping Hand.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Stewards of the Soil Reveal
After 4 months of work, the 20×20′ free-standing mural “Stewards of the Soil” is finally installed in Dixon, CA along eastbound I-80. My husband, Che Miller designed the support structure for the back to hold up in the sometimes brutal north winds that howl through the lower Sacramento valley. We had a structural engineer look over the plans and make suggestions for it to withstand the 1% chance storm. Please take a look at the photos below and sign up for my newsletter, colleen@colleengnos.com, if you would like to receive a more info on my artwork and the process of creating murals.
Thank you to Sally Lamas and Greg Steers for your help during installation! Meek’s Lumber & Hardware in Vacaville delivered the highest quality, straight, pressure treated lumber. Please support them for all of your hardware and lumber needs.

Mural Update
The mural is progressing nicely. Having to paint it in pieces poses a challenge to have the vision to make it all cohesive when it is installed. Plus, I can only stand 11 feet back from it in my studio, when it will be viewed from 40′ away at 70 MPH at the closest. My mantra for this project is “Bigger Brushes, Bolder Brushstrokes.”

MEET THE ARTIST, TASTE THE WINE
I hope to see you at Kelsey Winery from this Saturday, June 2nd from 12-5PM! I’ll have my art booth set up, complete with paintings and matted prints. I’ll be there to meet you, answer questions and sign Kelsey wine bottles. Join myself and the Kelsey family in celebrating these accomplishments and thanking you for all for your votes!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Being voted SLO County’s Best Visual Artist and Best Public Art Project is perhaps the biggest honor I have ever received. I am truly humbled.
